Summer 4th of July Plural Nouns Grammar Reading Game Digital Resource Google Activity

Your students will have fun practicing plural nouns in an 4th of July theme with this online reading game using Google Sheets.

 In this self-checking activity, students answer questions as they receive instant feedback.  In the game “Win-A-Lotto” students compete with each other as they test their luck along with their content skills.  Each correct response is rewarded with a random three digit number.  Each student’s ticket generates numbers at random and three random winning numbers are drawn with the last three correct responses.  It is recommended to provide a small prize to any students with a winning “ticket”. 

Students will read each  statement, change the singular noun that is in parentheses into a plural noun and type it in the box. Then the student receives immediate feedback.

If correct, they will earn a lucky number on their ticket. When students answer incorrectly, their answer turns red to let them know they should go back and revise their answer or seek help from the instructor. The random numbers are not generated for incorrect responses.
