Collection: Seize It!

How To Play Seize It:

  1. Divide students into teams, and choose a captain for each team.
  2. Begin with question #1, discussing it as a class. Each team will have their captain provide the answer.
  3. If the answer is correct, the team gets to pick a community building, or whatever objects the game comes with.
  4. Continue with the remaining questions until all have been answered.
  5. Reveal the point values for each building after all questions have been answered.
  6. Have each team add up their points based on the buildings they collected.
  7. Announce the winning team and celebrate their success.

Point Values Example:

  • Police Station = 15 points
  • Fire station = 12 points
  • Hospital = 10 points
  • Post Office = 8 points
  • School= 5 points
  • Library = 1 point or 20 points (choose the highest or lowest value to create competition)

Note:

Adjust point values for each round of the game if desired.
